Firmoo Eyewear | Review

When it comes to eyeglasses, I'm very particular with how it sits and the comfort level.
I wear glasses literally everyday and the occasional contact lenses. So when it comes to looking for new glasses, I look at the nose piece, the ear bar and the lightness.

This month, I got a chance to try out Firmoo Eyewear*; and it's a beautiful site that sells high quality eyewear but with affordable pricing. At first, I was thinking "Oh no, how will I know if the glasses look good on me or if they can make it the power of lenses that I need?". But simple enough, they have tools on their site that can let you virtually pick your face shape or use your own photo and match the pair of glasses you like over the picture. It was very convenient and gives customer a better idea of the glasses they're choosing. The second thing I worried about was if the glasses could hold a lens with the power of eyes I have because my eye power is pretty high and on top of that I have astigmatism.

So after all the skeptical things I was worried about, I received the glasses pretty quick and my first and final impression was that the glasses are amazing. It blew my mind how comfortable they are, how light they are and how well they sat on my nose. A lot of glasses tends to slide on me if there were no nose piece and this one sat so comfortablely. The quality is great, looks fashionable, and the design is so affordable. All I had to do was choose a design, upload my prescription and wait for it to get here. So quick, so easy and I'm so happy with these glasses.
So thank you Firmoo for this opportunity, I definitely recommend you guys!

Dear Twenty Five

Dear Twenty Five,

I know that twenty-five is kinda like what they say "a quarter life crisis", the big two five.
It's such an intimidating number and it feels like when girls reach to this age there's so much to worry about. Your skin starts to lose elasticity, your dietary habit of easily gaining weight, your bodies immune system doesn't work as good as before. Here's just to name a few but the most important is if your living the life you initially thought for yourself and if you're achieving the goals you originally set.

As always, setting goals is really easy but the "doing" part of it is extremely challenging.
So before I step into my quarter life crisis, let's set a few goals, have you guys as witness, make it happen and have a splendid year.

The most important one that can change and heal most things is drinking more water and watching my sugar/salt intake. My main goal is to concentrate on drinking water and cutting out any sugary drinks. The contribution of water to the body is huge and from reading lots of pins and articles, it can literally heal most body problems. Sugar and salt intake is definitely something I need to work on and avoiding. While my mind is still young, my body is aging and by controlling the intake of water, sugar and salt, let's hope my body stays young like my mind.

I say this often, but I really need to start working out and moving those muscles in my body. By exercising more, the blood in your body circulates more equally and allowing the organs to function at it's best performance. Therefore, yoga and basic cardio is on my list this year.

Positivity and actually getting things done is something I'm very bad at keeping. A lot of my life situation tends to gather up on me at once causing me to get anxious and not be able to figure out what to do first. This year, I would like to keep myself at a positive state, figure things out and accomplishing things I have promised.

So for me twenty-five is kinda a big year; I've recently changed my career and moved to a new home.
But I know that, nothing is ever too late and I'll keep my mind to that and step into twenty-five.

So twenty five, here I come; but i've came prepared.
What's your goals for the upcoming year?

Dear Twenty Five, I know that twenty-five is kinda like what they say " a quarter life crisis ", the big two five. It&...

Ready for Valentine's?

Get ready for Valentine's with Papyrus*

Alright lets get that pen and paper ready and plan this special day for your loved ones.

1. What's their favourite kinda days? Plan for their preference.
Personally I love netflix, hot chocolate cozy kinda days but they could be up for something exciting,  romantic and entertaining.
Plan towards what you think best suits you guys as a couple and progress from there.

2. Set the mood and plan a meal.
You can either dine in or dine out, which ever you think is the best to leave a memorable moment.
I love dining out for valentine's as it's fun to dress up and have a reason to look pretty for your special date.
Setting the mood with candles is my absolute favourite.

3.  Prepare a gift, especially something handmade.
For Valentine's, I always prepare something handmade or creative like a card.
I find personal pieces like these are more thoughtful and creative.
I mean you can always pick up items from stores but I like to save that for birthdays or christmas.

4. Don't forget to tell your loved ones how much you love them.
Last and most important, the meaning of the day is to let your loved one know your feelings and your love for them.
Always top it off with a cute kiss!
