Time of Reflection

December has finally arrived and nowadays it's all about keeping warm and knowing the comfort. It's also my favourite month because it's finally the end of the year, lots of happy gathering and a time to reflect upon the things that have happened.  So today's post I'm going to comment on things that I really enjoyed and things that I wish I could've done better. - kinda like a new year's resolution -

1.  This year has brought me many new opportunities and I'm so happy to be able to push myself to things that I'm very foreign to and try new things.

2.  I'm happy to see how much great people I have met through blogging and Instagramming. Whether it's a quick commenting convo or a coffee meet up; I'm so happy to see people with similar interests and be able to share each other's wisdom.

3.  My family is huge and being able to see each other all at once is always an issue. I love how this year each individual has gotten to know each other more, taken time out to the weekly gathering and being able to share our ups and downs. I feel like as a family, we've grown a lot closer this year.

4.  For the upcoming year, the thing I wish for the most is to control my procrastination. Time passes by so easily and so fast that I feel like I could've used it more effectively.

5.  Learning to organize my thoughts is definitely something I need to work on and be able to find a system that can hold it all together.  I think a good agenda in the upcoming year will do-

Dressed for the Weather + Wedding

Last month, I got a chance to dress for the weather and a beautiful wedding. And since it's sweater season, why not incorporate that into something fancy. In today's outfit, I wore a beautiful knitted cropped turtleneck along with a body-line pencil skirt. The key to show off "some" curve, is to slightly tuck in the sweater. And since it's only a few things that I need to carry around, like my wallet and lipstick; I topped this outfit off with a tinted see-through clutch.

Minimalist Jewelry | Baublebar

Jewelry is the best way to add a cherry on top of an outfit. When it comes to certain designs, I preferably like pieces that are more structured, elegantly petite and with a modern edge.  In terms of gold or silver; gold suits me more during the fall/winter season while silver is more of a spring/summer trend.

This season I have picked out a couple of my most worn and most loved pieces from Baublebar.

Minimal Metal Collar: This is my first collar piece and I love the structure and the way it sits on your neckline without being too close. It's a simple way to add a touch of spark to your outfit without looking too heavy. My favourite way to pair this collar is over a blouse that's under a sweater, over a simple black t-shirt that reveals the neckline area or to edge it up with a jewelled statement necklace.

Droplet Ear Cuffs: I've been obsessed with pear shaped gems for awhile now, so I decided to get a ear cuff with this shape and wow! I've been really obsessed. It's really a simple way to make any outfit more put together. Since the earring is so statement on it's own, I usually like to have my hair up in a half up-do or a bun to peek out these beautiful gem.

Please let me know in the comment below your favourite fall/winter pieces?

Say Goodbye To Dry Skin

Just in time for the season, Palmer's kindly sent me these three moisturizing products to soothe my skin. With the really dry climate that I live in; my skin likes to get dry, flakey and patchy. This is my first time trying Palmer's and here's how it went:

The first one I tried was the Cocoa Butter Formula For Dry Itchy Skin Oil Body Spray*, similar to the Cocoa Butter Formula Moisturizing Body Oil* they're both very nourishing and absorbs super fast. My skin instantly feels nourished and relieved with a velvety smooth texture. The spray is great for the body after shower before the water dries up, so it all absorbs in. And the body oil is great for when you want to relax with a bath and you directly pour it in to the water. I can seriously say that these are the best body oil ever! You won't feel sticky what so ever.

And to the Cocoa Butter Formula Body Lotion*, it's a much richer formula and it smells so yummy like chocolate. The consistency is heavier, a great protective barrier that nourishes the skin containing vitamin e and cocoa butter.

I'll definitely repurchase these once I run out and put it in my staples list.

Jammer Up

Now that it's almost the end of the year, I would like to give a shout out to my favourite lipstick from 3 Concept Eye "3CE". The pigment, the colour, the quality, and packaging; all don't budge!
The colour I have here is 3CE Jammer; a matte lipstick with a rosy red that is build-able and creates the perfect ombre lips. Perfect for the christmas gathering and the perfect spark of colour.
