Lost In Fairmont

This Christmas I went on a winter getaway to Banff, Alberta. 

This beautiful town is the perfect place to feel all festive and relax in the cold. The best part is that it's only an hour drive away from the big city and the best place to take a break from a fast pace city. On this little getaway, I took some time out to wander in the beautiful Fairmont and eventually getting lost. All the corridors, all the fancy names, all the stairs, it's a work of delicate art! Beautiful as it can be, this place is very fairy tale like and a place to snap my camera as much as possible.

On this adventure, I dressed for the warm Christmas with a washed out light jeans, pair of tall platform booties, cozy knitted grey-white cardigan and a scarf to keep the heat in. I loved how this year I didn't have to bundle in a big heavy winter jacket but be able to wear light and free. The booties also kept my feet off the ground from getting popsicle toes. My favourite is this faux leather backpack that kept my shoulders light and it carried everything including my camera. #handfree
